I have been blogging for quite a while now and I would like to share with you why I love ComLuv and how it has helped me in various ways.
ComLuv Provides More Exposure to My Links
I love to comment on ComLuv enabled blogs, heck I even have a special bookmark for ComLuv enabled sites and blogs. Occasionally and if not daily, I’ll visit these sites and leave a Comment on their latest blog entry. Sometimes I try to be the first person to comment on these sites. The reason is simple, ComLuv enables me to advertise my links at those sites automatically. I don’t have to engage in spammy activities like manually posting links in comment box to get my link there.
Who doesn’t like free exposure like that? It is a plus when I become the earliest person to comment on that blogpost because if people are to read other people comments, the will read my comments first and will see my link too. What if thousands of others read that blogpost and its’ comment section? I don’t have to pay a single penny to get that kind of exposure for my link thanks to this brilliant plugin.
More Exposure Leads to More Traffic
True story. As a blogger, I administer where my traffic came and I wouldn’t deny the fact that my commenting habit on ComLuv enabled sites had been very fruitful for me. Some might not agree with me, but let me teach you how.
If let’s say an influential blogger writes about something hot at that time and that you are knowledgeable in that similar topic, then by all means write your own version as well. Here’s the twist, don’t plagiarize from any source and give something that the blogger didn’t mention in his entry. I’m sure there is something. Then put a catchy title, or even better, you can post a reply-kind-of version of that blog post. Of course you can send trackbacks, but then again nowadays webmasters tend to list trackbacks at the bottom, after the comment section. So trackbacks are less effective now but with the CommentLuv plugin, your link will appear there where you commented.
Other readers who are engaged with the topic will read your comment and most likely will click on your link to read further. Yes, that is quality traffic. New readers come in and might be regular readers at your blog
Backlink From a PR6 Site & More Comments!
ComLuv.com is a PR6 site. ComLuv users have the chance to get a dofollow backlink from there by either being the commentator with the most comments or by writing a kick ass blog post and get lots of comments. Your choice. It is actually a beautiful harmony. You see, when you are not posting anything on that day, you just have to go around and leave comments here and there (of course on a CommentLuv enabled sites) and when you’re writing something, you would be accustomed to write entries that could drive lots comments because of the perk.
I’m sure lots of people like me out there who has this mindset that more comments in my entry means it is good that people did not just spend their precious time reading but leaving a comment as well. Although the case is not always that, but then again having lots of comments is some sort of sign that the blog post is popular. By having the CommentLuv plugin installed, I got an increase of up to 20% of total comments per month. That is a lot and can be accountable for something, right?
People love doing something and get rewarded. With that in mind, they treat free advertising through the comment section as a reward for commenting, thus they become less reluctant and more welcome to leave a comment. As simple as that, no rocket science involved here.

Great twist there Ariff. I was actually going to write a post (maybe I still will) on how to take more advantage of ComLuv. As you have imagined by now, I am a ComLuv user and I have been using it since I first heard about it and that goes way back. I love it as much as you do and I too encourage everyone who wants to “engage” with fellow bloggers to install it without “blinking” an eye. There is too much advantage to risk not having it… Great post

All this while, I’ve been working hard to look for unique content for my readers. Even if the topic has been discussed by other bloggers, I always believe that there are other twists and new ideas from different point of view to talk about that very topic.
Readers love interesting & unique content and bloggers who provide that will always have the advantage. It’s just that simple.
those who are not yet installed this plug-in, they need to have it, as long as set the do-follow. instead we can now the latest post those blogger comment our post and the RSS link is not have problem.

Yup , if you get lots of comments on your CommentLuv enabled blog or you yourself had left many comments on other CommentLuv enabled blogs, you will be featured on the front page of ComLuv.com. It is that simple.
When pursuing quantity, people tend to forget about quality. That happens most of the time. In that case I guess you could use the Remove Luv feature in the comment section if you find out that some people is leaving spammy comments.

I first stumbled across CommentLuv just before I started a blog. I was impressed. Reciprocal benefit made so much sense. So it became one of the first plugins I grabbed for WP.
I think one big upside is it encourages better comments. I know I make the effort because I’m being rewarded with links.
Drawbacks?
1. Now I hate commenting on non-CommentLuv sites.
2. No one else in my industry has caught on yet, so the links I’m building aren’t industry specific.

I couldn’t agree more with you on the drawbacks. After I started using CommentLuv, I always have this preferential treatment to comment on blogs that have CommentLuv. It’s like an addiction I should say because there is this satisfaction when seeing my links appear on other blog posts.
I guess you should encourage your friends more to use CommentLuv. It will be fun!

I wanna share my experience too.
Well, I love the comluv plugin because it’s like a sexy girl. It seduce readers to read more than just a post. When people come to my blog, they will stick to my blog because comluv will show them the link to my other post. And more of that, it’s not just showing a link, it has snippet photo together with the link. Cool man!
As a result, I get more page view, more visitors, and more benefit from it. I love comluv plugin. Thank you so much comluv.
opss little misunderstood here. comluv doesn’t have snippet photo right? my mistake..sorry! but i just love the way comluv promote the link of our post. we can choose one of our ten recent post. i like it
People need to register with Comluv.com so that they can choose the 10 latest post.

I believe blogs with CommentLuv plugin tend to get more comments than other usual blogs. It is an attraction for other bloggers to comment and leave their link as well.
KeywordLuv is also a great plugin as well. Not sure why it is not compatible with your blog, maybe you should contact the developer for support.

People would create different video stating their own opinion on similar issue and from that I thought, this would be great if it is implemented in the blogging world as well. The chain effect is a good thing to have and works well especially on hot topics.

Before this i’m not sure if CommentLuv is compatible with blogspot but after i read your post about ‘CommenLuv by using intense debate’, I tried it and its work. For me, CommenLuv is essential pluggin for blogger.

I’m new to Wp and have just install commentluv as in your recommendation. Yeah, certainly it give advantages to both side, the commenters and blogger. Readers tend to comment more when they see commentluv.
But don’t know why, mine sometimes works, sometimes not. So i decide to remove it until I solve the question mark. Still I want to use comluv so bad. Urgghh

I think the exposure is the best part of CommentLuv, and if you are smart and leave very relevant links on posts you are a commenting on, then you will likely get a lot more traffic. This is why it’s essential to register for ComLuv and have your last 10 posts available to you – that way you almost always have something relevant to leave behind, no matter where you are. And the more URL’s and default links you have, the better your options are.

CommentLuv certainly is useful for drawing comments out of readers and for advertising. I wish I could go back more than 10 posts, though, because sometimes an older post is the most relevant to the discussion at hand.
even better if we could set up 5 custom posts rather than the 10 older posts.
of course putting more than 10 would be problematic for the servers I guess

I love com luv since it gives me the ability to write a good comment on other blogs and at the same time it helps me improve my own blog, inviting more comluv members to comment.
Comment luv definately adds great value to the internet community, some of my blogs have it and some don’t. The ones that do have it are definately more successful.

Comluv is really great because it drives a lot of comments to your site… Just have to deal with spam, but it’s not a big deal.

One plugin that we have been using for quite some time on our sites is the free CommentLuv plugin. It certainly helped to bring traffic in to our affiliate blog site in the early days and encourage visitors to leave comments.

Wish I would have read this in time to be the first one to comment. I have only recently discovered CommentLUV, so not sure yet what positive effect it will have on generating traffic to my webistes. I have only enabled it on three of my blogs at the present time, although I’m fairly certain I will enable it on more of them in the very near future. I have already noticed an increase in revenues, so it most certainly is having a positive effect already.
