Building a successful website or blog is a massive job and when you reach a certain stage it will be time to outsource work to others. The problem is many bloggers never know when it is time to outsource website jobs and struggle to keep the ball rolling, so to speak.

If you do not outsource certain blogging jobs then the whole process of building a successful website can become overwhelming. You can only do so much with one person working so here are a few tips to show you why outsourcing is important for blog growth.

If You Have Money to Spare

If you have money to spare right now, outsourcing is the best investment you can make for your website. You know the saying, “many hands make light work”, well this is not only true but many hands also build businesses quicker.

If you have money to invest in your business even before it starts to make its own money, not spending a cent would be a crime and a definite setback.

When You Are Making Money

Running a website or blog is a business so when you make money you should reinvest a certain amount back into the business to ensure growth. Many Webmasters start a website for under $100 and continue at that pace, trying not to invest too much money. This will ensure that your website has a slow and low growth rate, whereas reinvesting the money that you have made on outsourcing will see profits faster.

Wasting Time on Really Easy Tasks

Sometimes a Webmasters time is unfortunately spent on menial tasks that are devastatingly boring. These tasks should definitely be outsourced because you will not last long in the game if you keep doing something you hate. Outsource these tasks as soon as you can and focus on the blogging jobs that you enjoy.

When You Find Someone Good

When I find a person that can do a great job for me, I try to keep them working steadily for as long as I can. This is because people often move on to other jobs, get poached by another Webmasters, or maybe even start their own online project.

For example I have hundreds of well written articles that I have bought when my writers had time to work. Some of my best writers have moved on and that was very sad to me but I still have a stock of articles to keep me going. Now I have time to find another writer to replace the one I lost.

Access to Skills You Do Not Have

I have a personal assistant that can show me a thing or two and here I was thinking that I was the only person that knew everything about this business. (Yeah right) I admit that I was guilty of thinking that no one else cares about my business and that no one could do a better job than me. That was because I had not found the right people to hire.

With a bit of trial and error, I found some fantastic people that were willing to help me build my business.

There Are Not Enough Hours in the Day

This is a totally obvious reason. When there are not enough hours in the day for the jobs that you need to do, you need to outsource these jobs. Unfortunately Webmasters just struggle along and again, this is when it becomes too much and they give up blogging.

Unless you are wonder woman or Superman, outsourcing is extremely important for your website growth. I preferred not to try to be someone that I’m not and outsourcing has definitely helped me build a fantastic business that I could not have done by myself.

I think doing blogging alone is good as we never know what’s going in our partners mind and it requires a lot f time and hard work to build the blog and we don’ know when our partner cheat with us and we loose our whole hard-work with our blog.

    Hi Mitz,

I can totally vouch for the fact that blogging is quite a painful and lonely job, especially during the initial days, I’m going through those days myself.

In addition to what you have stated here, I feel that asking people in your social circle to help you out can also sometimes help. They might or might not do it for a fee but it’s a viable option for cash-strapped individuals and the extra helping hand is always welcome, provided the person is good enough to contribute to the website. What are your thoughts on that?

    Regards.

It’s really essential to invest on blog, especially on those skills which you lacks so that you can get better services to complete your task. You can also outsource less important task so that you can give much attention to your crucial work.

Well said. I like you last point where you have told where is no enough hours a day. Yes, it has been true with me where I don’t get time and so I do outsource some work.

Also when we don’t know some things or do not have some skills then we will outsource it to the people who are well versed in it

    Thank You

  6. The article talks about me. I’m managing five blogs (on different topics) and I don’t have enough time to update them regularly. I also work in a full time job, since the blogs will not compensate my family. So it is very hard to let go, but if I want my blog to keep flourishing I have to let go. I have to trust other people… Its a necessary skill for a businessman or a blogger.

  9. Blogging is one of the most important component. Outsourcing can be very beneficial for a business.

Blogging is totally beneficial and so is outsourcing, but like what you said there are not enough hours in the day to manage everything. Even having a to-do list isn’t enough to guide you on what specific task to do especially if you’re busy and have no plans of doing them at all. But does outsourcing really work? I’ve researched some blogs and this one explained it well to me.

    Hi Mitz,
Thanks for the article and suggestions. I’m new at blogging and am trying to learn as much as I can. I have invested a little money on ads to get followers on FB, but other than not not much. I considered buying articles, but at this point I want to write my own. Later I’ll take you advice and hire someone. Thanks, great advice!

I fully relate to your article, Mitz.

I’ve published a few articles, but not nearly as many as I should have so far. Reason is that I’m studying to master the behind-the-scenes stuff, like SEO, linking, social, etc., etc. So, you are correct. A lot of time is consumed while writing takes a back seat. Still, it’s productive time spent.

Writing is a joy, but I also want to be in control of the project. It isn’t the monetizing at this point, rather, knowing what I am doing so as to know my options and recognize opportunities.

Perseverance rules and it is coming together. But I think it’s time for me to outsource a bit just to keep the ball rolling.

    Thanks,

As old saying “Time is Money”.
So if i have some bucks that i can outsource any of my work with it then i just go for it because the time it costs could be invested in other things that needed to be done.
Sometimes when i get orders related to Social Networks (FB LIKES ETC) and i am busy then i just outsource them and still there is a good amount left for me.

Outsourcing in blogging becomes important and is beneficial only if you take Blogging as your part time Job (this is what i believe). If this is anyone’s full time job, then I guess one can easily do the things that we bloggers do. However, if he runs a network of blogs, then there arises a valid point of outsourcing. But for that, iit is very important to take care that you are outsourcing a right person.

  17. Great article. I just started a website and blog and have spent hours at night trying to get everything just right. Using outsourcing seems like a great idea just not sure how to control all the content put on the site.

Being the sole blogger requires dedication, discipline and dedication which unfortunately after a while all run out or aren’t enough to produce attention grabbing content anymore.
The trick of outsourcing is to set a budget, use different writers and keep track of your traffic sources using the trusted online services to determine which writer provides the best seo articles to you.
