If you are a normal Webmaster, I know you would definitely love to skyrocket your blog traffic fast! But if you are saying that you do not want to get blog traffic fast then what is wrong with you?
Blog traffic simply means blog success and if you are a Webmaster this is what you want. Of course there are other factors involved such as converting your website visitors but traffic is a great start!
I have been working towards building monster traffic websites for years now but the traffic never came fast. Things have changed and now days I can build a website and have it attracting 1,000 or even 2,000 unique visits a day within the first 15 months of the websites life. The stats I am showing you above took me 4-5 years to produce, however social networking sites and guest posting were hardly thought of back then. We are all a lot smarter and have more opportunities to grab.
Here are a few tips that could skyrocket your blog traffic fast!
Yes you can get fast traffic but always keep on track with your SEO as this is the traffic to aim for as once you have it, natural search engine traffic requires less effort to maintain.
#1. Get some great content happening
You cannot simply go out and get blog traffic fast unless you have content for your website visitors to see. Therefore the first step is to create the best content that you can, making sure it is highly targeted to your niche.
I suggest you research other blogs in your niche and see what is popular. You can also do some keyword research with the Google keyword tool, however guessing is never a good idea. It is the world’s point of view that counts not yours. You are not the judge of what good content is, the millions out there are.
#2. Plan a path for your visitors before they come
Do not invite visitors over and leave them wondering what to do or where to go. This is not nice and it makes a visitor feel out of place. You need to make every page on your website have a purpose and make it obvious for the visitors to see.
#3. Guest post to your heart’s content
Many bloggers know that guest posting is the best way to get blog traffic fast. If you can write well enough, you can get your guest post published on high traffic blogs that will blast your traffic stats through the roof. If you cannot write well outsource the job!
I actually developed an entire blog from scratch using guest posting alone and after a year it was making well over $1000 a month without even trying. I even got slack at times and forgot to keep my guest posting up. That is amazing, considering my first blog took it least two years to get $1000 a month. #4. Give them gifts they want to share
Imagine if you met a person in the street and gave them a gift. They would probably think you are weird. In the blogging world this is a normal thing to do but you just can’t give any old “JO BLO” gift. In fact it is a well known viral marketing strategy.
Imagine creating a WordPress plug-in that everyone wanted to use? I could use Andy Bailey as an example with his comment luv plug-in. Everyone loves it and everyone wants to use it. Andy is probably one of the smartest people I know, because if people want to enhance the plug-in, they have to visit his blog and register. What a great example of using a WordPress plug-in to get blog traffic fast.
You might not be capable of writing a WordPress plug-in but if you have an idea you can definitely get one made for you by outsourcing the project.

#5. Love’em and lock’em in
If you get blog traffic fast, make sure you are there to catch them and look after your new best customers. Offer them your gifts and get them to sign up on your list so you can talk to them again later.
Send them an auto-responder series of emails that you really only have to setup once and let run. This will keep you in contact with your subscribers and keep them coming back to your website to visit.
Do not leave big gaps in your communication as your precious subscriber might forget who you are!
#6. Get Social
Install social media buttons on your website, add links to your Social profiles and get yourself out in the world. Getting traffic to you website is going to expose who you are so be prepared to come out from hiding and “be known”.
Getting Social is very important now days and if your article hits the big time in Social media the traffic can blow you away. Your job is to catch that traffic.

This would be perfect to be able to have website traffic fast, not just any old traffic though, only targeted will do. These tips listed above are only to grab targeted traffic so if you are not doing one or all of these things, then I suggest you get to it!
These methods will get you traffic to start your blog off with a bang, then when you have enough content your SEO should kick in and start bringing free traffic from the search engines.
