Good news! I’ve updated the affiliate code across the whole site so that it is now more reliable and even better… I will not be setting a minimum payout level!
No minimum payout level
What really annoys me about most affiliate deals that are targeted at new bloggers is that they set their minimum payout level at a ridiculous amount. Take Kontera for example, so many bloggers use them but don’t realize that they’ll never get paid because they’ll need to generate thousands and thousands of clicks just to earn the minimum required to get paid!
That’s why I have set the ComLuv affiliate program to payout every month REGARDLESS of how small the payment will be, that’s right!, even if you have just 1 dollar in your affiliate earnings, you will get paid! (usually a couple of weeks after the end of the month)
Check your earnings
Log in to the dashboard and click on ‘your referrals’ in the ‘users’ menu (if you can’t see that item, you need to enable the affiliate settings in your profile) and you will see the pretty graphs that show you how many unique clicks generated, how many members you’ve introduced and more.
You will earn 20% of all credits purchased via paypal by your referrals for THE LIFE of your referrals. That means, EVERY TIME THEY BUY!.
You can see how many credits were purchased by your referrals under the column titled “credits purchased”. You will personally earn in dollars, the amount of credits in your account under the column titled “credits”.
How to earn more
I used to pay a bonus to users who referred the most members or generated the most unique clicks but I had to stop doing that because people were cheating and using bad practices!
I may introduce that again but not until I have put some measures in to protect against cheaters. It’s such a shame that just a few idiots can ruin it for the thousands of people who play fair.
Ways that will work..
- Writing tutorials on your own site.

Occasionally I send someone credits just for being awesome. Being awesome is easy, just help people or answer peoples questions in the comments when they ask about CommentLuv or be an ambassador of ComLuv (which really only requires you to be nice to other commentluv users) - Much more coming soon
I will be adding more things that you can do to earn credits in the future. I wanted to get everything stable first and that meant getting the affiliate system working nicely with the credits purchase system which, it is!
How to spend your credits
There will be more things coming to spend your credits on like purchasing a featured site spot on the site or in the upcoming directory but for now, you can read the how commentluv luv works post to see in more detail how you purchase additional URLs or static links.
You can even send them as a gift to someone else!
Help your members and earn from two directions
Visit ‘your members’ in the “users” section of the dashboard and see who you’ve referred to Comluv and help them with their site or CommentLuv installation. If any of your referred members purchases credits at any time in the future (via paypal) then you will earn every time they do. Not only that, if they report you as being a helpful affiliate then I will reward you with some credits of your own to spend on the cool things that are coming to ComLuv.
Don’t Cheat!!
Please use your affiliate link and direct links wisely, it’d be a shame to delete your account for spamming or black hat link cloaking or cookie stuffing…(a few people already have)

No minimum payout? But how would you handle fees in this case? Imagine if there are so many people withdraw their earnings immediately without reaching the a reasonable amount, you’ll be bombarded of so many payout forms and it’s pretty tedious for you to give their earnings to everybody, right?

well 2% of 1 dollar ten times is the same as 2% of 10 dollars once so I will just export the affiliates who are due to be paid at the middle of each month and pay them via paypal using mass payments. simple!

Nice to hear that their are now no minimum payments, it seems a lot of site are now going this way, I think it’s more of a incentive for people to join knowing that they don’t have to struggle just to hit a threshold to get paid.

Thanks for reducing the threshhold. It is always a bummer when you have to wait for commissions to reach $100 bucks like some affiliate programs require. I agree with BlazingMinds — it’s a real incentive for getting peopleto join.
