How You Can Turn PLR Material into Original Content

If you are developing a website you are aware of the need of filling it up with original useful content. The more content that your site has the better that both visitors to the site and Google will receive it. It will help to establish you as an authority in your chosen niche. The producing of this content can often be a daunting task.

Types of PLR Products

Purists often frown upon the use of PLR. This probably due to the many people who purchase it and then use it without changing a word. The other knock on PLR material is that it can be of extremely poor quality. However if one searches carefully it is possible to find well-written high quality PLR products. Not all PLR material should be tarred with the same brush. There are many excellent writers out there who use their skills to create this material for others to use.

Although we have been discussing written material, PLR is also available in other forms. It is possible to purchase PLR videos and audio productions. Just like the written items the quality can vary from provider to provider.

What to Do With PLR Material

Once you have found some high quality materials, how can you use these productions to your best advantage? The very best idea is to use them as a research resource. Take the ideas presented in the material and rewrite them in your own words. One of the time consuming tasks in producing content is the research necessary. Almost every report on how to use PLR suggests that you should just alter it a little. They suggest you change the title, the introduction, and the conclusion. For example if the keyword that you are targeting is weight loss and the PLR uses the term dieting you can just swap out the words. By altering the original by only 20 percent that is considered sufficient to make it your own.

On the other hand if you truly want to have original content it is better to buy several PLR products about the same subject and using the points in each as your research material. Then you can rewrite it. You can use it for a Power Point video. Or you can talk to your bullet points that you have taken from these resource articles and make a podcast. You can use the material as a course and with the different approaches to the subject added to your own it give a fresh take on the subject.

It does not take that much effort to turn these various affordable PLR products into something that is truly of your own creation.
