This is an interesting concept, but how comfortable are people with making payments through SMS? I know we always here about donations to SMS. But people may not feel like doing this for a private company.
So, Paypal is still there. I will check this company out though. Paying close attention to the charges and other fees that they might require!

To be honest this is kind of an inconvenience to most people in the states. After there was the scams that took advantage of SmS billing, many people have lost faith in the practice. And like another commentor said, Paypal is still going to dominate this type of exchange practice.

I think that SMS Chat can be a real goldmine. People just love to chat and text. Give them an opportunity to give an opinion, and they will come in droves.

This is an interesting idea. There is no doubt that mobile is the future. People already use their phones to pay for all kinds of apps, so it isn’t that much of a stretch. Of course I think a lot of people will be hesitant to make payment through sms, but like anything else, if it can prove to be a viable option with the early adopters, than more and more people will jump in.
There are a lot of sms services that I am familiar with that offer ways for companies to build lists of customers to offer sales to. You have likely seen the text john’s pizza to 53246 and get a free slice of pizza, or something to that effect.
That is a popular tool with local businesses, but I haven’t seen that many online companies taking advantage of it.
I wonder how something like that would do vs the standard opt in rss request. Also, I would think an sms list would be more valuable for a blogger than an rss subscription going into a reader or an email box.

Good things are happening here, Am developing a network website with wordpress and i want my users to be able to send sms from their account, and they can only send sms only when they purchase sms unit, if they don’t pay they can’t send sms, this plugin should be able to send sms in bulk and should be able to upload bulk phone numbers, it should be able to track weather the sms was delivered or not, tell user the number of sms unit they have at each point in time. you assistance is needed in this even if for a pay. thanks
