I’ve made some minor updates to the additional URLs page so that you can now enter in your sites description, name, category and keywords. You can also edit them too.
This is a precursor to the up and coming additions to ComLuv.com like premium featured sites and further in the future, the definitive Commentluv Directory.
Adding another URL to your CommentLuv account
Log in to the site and hover over the Member menu item and select the additional URLs link
Enter your chosen URL and click submit
The site will then try and fetch a selection of your posts and show the form where you can add your site name, feed url, how many posts you want returned from this site, description, category and keywords. Once you’re happy, click the submit button.
You will get notified the site was added and 6 credits deducted from your account.
The site will then be listed along with any of your other additional URLs, if you want to edit the details, just click on ‘edit site info’
Simple!
That’s it, you will then receive up to 10 posts (or however many you set in the form) from this site when you comment using it’s URL or any of the URLs on your account.
There’s currently no limit to how many extra URLs you can add but try to keep the number below 5 or it may take too long to collect all your posts when you comment which would timeout the script.
You cannot edit your URL or feed url once you’ve saved the form so make sure you get them right the first time!
Update Your Existing URLs
If you already have some additional URLs, click the edit site info button and add your keywords and description so when the new directory gets added, your site will already be listed and searchable.
(and when the featured sites comes along, you’ll be ready for that too!)

If you have additional URLs already entered, you can edit their details so they have descriptions and keywords associated with them.

BTW, in certain sites am not able to pick out a post.. Instead it just displays a cached post. Why is it so??
I know you are busy. .. But still I wanted to ask it..

I just signed up for comment love. This is a nice feature and I like the way it looks on other sites, however the last post isn’t showing. This was on the reply I made to a comment. Do last blog posting not show for administrators?
