Never Forget Who You Are!

It seems that once new blogger’s learn the process of making money online no matter which methods they use, they tend to forget their roots and start to get secretive, think of themselves as gurus and that it’s not right for them to help or comment on new blogs that are starting out or on blogs that don’t have that much traffic yet.

Sadly some of them think they’re too big and valuable to waste their time on blogs that don’t at least meet their same rankings or that they might look bad if they were seen commenting on such blogs. Which is why you will find that some of the high ranked blogs will have hundreds of comments on single posts and yet they only replied back at blogs that meet their blog’s level.

I’m not saying they should reply on every blog they get in their comments section, but why only choose successful mega blogs to reply to? You have no idea how new blogger’s will feel when they see someone with a mega blog, took the time to read their article and comment on it. Its a nice feeling and it will encourage those blogger’s to push their blogs to go beyond the limit and in the end they will succeed.

Earn Their Loyalty Before They Get Bigger!

When I first created my blog, I was worried that people wont like my posts or that I wont even get one comment on it, but to my surprise, on my first post ever titled “Is It Really Possible? Making Money Online That Is!”, the first comment I received on that post was by Andy Bailey The creator of Comment-Luv! He wrote a full 5 paragraph detailed comment

that helped me a lot on my next posts.  Believe it or not, this is why I continued to post articles on my blog to this very day, because I felt that my post now has value and I just couldn’t quit, I must keep going!

Helping Others Doesn’t Hurt You!

Remember leaving comments on smaller or newer blogs does NOT hurt your website’s rankings in any way even if they are DO-FOLLOW, simply because search engines look at links from high quality websites to determine your site’s value, so leaving comments on those blogs can only benefit you in the long run because think about it, if one day these blogs grew to be as successful as you or perhaps even more successful, those links that you left will still be there and at this point you WILL benefit from high quality back-links with these blogs.

In other words always remember your roots and how you started and struggled in the beginning, even though you succeeded there are many others that are still on that very first step, and giving them a hand is not only the right thing to do, but it might also be to your benefit later on when these blogs hit it big (and trust me, some will), they will never forget you no matter how big they get.

If you discover any new ways or methods to increase your traffic or generate an income online, don’t hesitate to share it with everyone, because remember that when they succeed you succeed.

By the way I’m not saying that all mega blogs are selfish or that they only prefer to help others at their same level. Take for example Com-Luv and BasicBlogTips, they are both successful but I always see comments posted by both of them on a lot of smaller/newer blogs out there. This is how it should always be.

Remember that no matter how big or small in the end, we are one blogging community and if you want to succeed, there is only one way: TOGETHER!
