Add static links to your list of returned posts when you comment

Posted by Andy Bailey January - 8 - 2010 - Friday

I’ve added a new feature to ComLuv. Some people have posts on their site they want to make ’sticky’. It could be your about page or your special event post. Whatever it is, as long as it’s available on your site then you can add it to your list of returned posts.

Visit the default links page and enter in your anchor text (the text that is clickable) and select which of your sites the link is on from the pull down box. Then it’s just a case of adding the rest of the url so the two together form the whole URL of the link.

eg, if your site is http://firedwok.co.uk and you have an about page you want to make sticky on your return list, you would put All about me in the anchor text field and about/ in the url field (selecting http:/firedwok.co.uk from the pull down box).

Simple to add a sticky!

The good news is, you get these default links added to the bottom of your returned list of posts whichever of your urls you use and they only cost 2 credits.

    Hi,

I’ve just signed up so I need to go through everything in order to understand how to do things.

But I like your idea of being able to choose which post to get links to.

Buy or earn credits to do that?

    That is a surprise.

It wont take long and you’ll be a comluv ambassador! your main url and profile are completely free, if you want to add more sites to your account then it will cost credits. I have had to put some things that cost real money due to the overwhelming popularity of this site and plugin. Literally millions of comments get processed every month and the bandwidth and server costs are going beyond ‘hobby’ costs!

  3. I am going to reread all the information again but I really like the ideas of being able to pick the blog post to get links to. Out time and efforts should not always be free.

  4. A fair price for a great service!
It’s a really useful idea to make some posts sticky and will help me millions

    Cheers!
