I’ve been playing with some fancy schmancy backend code for ComLuv that will help me in the future when I open up some credit rewards features but it’s not ready to rock and roll yet, but!.. I need your help. I can’t get enough data on unique IP usage and geolocating to find out just what’s happening.
Help me and my takeout shop
I’ve put the first bit of test code on my takeout shops website which is a sub blog on comluv, it’s domain mapped to http://firedwok.co.uk and it really helps to have our menu online for the students that study in Lancaster (they always lose menus but they’ve always have internet). I know it needs a redesign and stuff but it’s the only site I can use to try this new code out..
CommentBribe
My idea is to allow a business to encourage people to comment on their site by buying credits on ComLuv.com and then giving those credits back to comluv members who make proper, non-spammy comments. It’ll all be done in the back end of the comments system by the blog owner.
If the business/blog owner likes the comment then they can give it a tick or click a special link and when that user gets enough votes (or even just one good comment) then the user gets rewarded with a credit which they can spend to get more things for their account. (or even bribe others to come to their site and comment).
No bribes yet!
I am only collecting data so I can try some things so there’s no reward (yet) for commenting but, I would really appreciate
Ok, ok. SOME bribes will be paid
It seems fair that for this testing and your help with it, I’ll probably end up giving some credits away anyway but, I’ll have to do it manually. If you can leave a great dish description or review of a dish you know you like then I will see if I can slip a credit or two your way.
Make sure you comment with one of your registered urls so your member number gets saved along with your comment or I wont be able to send you anything.
Dofollow baby!
The site is dofollow for comluv members, you also get your site name put after your real name when you comment so make sure you visit the member page here and update your site name for your registered url, it’ll be that name that gets shown.
the The Comluv Network bit is taken from the name field of your the site details on http://comluv.com/member/
