Newsletter
After a long delay, the newsletter is ready to go out again. I have left it until there are some solid changes to the site before sending it out because I don’t want to fill your inbox with trivial pap like many other “free” membership sites do.
I’ll make sure there are no more than 2 newsletters going out per month and will add links and offers to the emails that only subscribers will receive (like the ad affiliate signup page below).
As long as you clicked your confirmation link when you first registered, you will receive these emails. If you didn’t receive the link, you can add your details below to subscribe.

URL Registration
I’ve made some changes to the URL registration scripts so it should be even easier to add associate your URL with your account. There are literally hundreds of thousands of URLs stored in the ComLuv databse so it has taken some time to get the page working. It seems to behaving itself now but, seeing as there are so many URLs already imported from the old site combined with all the new URLs encountered since, it might have trouble with one or two sites so please use the support ticket page if you experience any issues.
Visit the URL registration page by clicking on the member tab in the toolbar.
Ads & Affiliates
I’ve also added some advertising to the main blog, you can purchase a PR5 page link on the left sidebar for just $15 USD per week and a 125×125 banner on the right sidebar for $20 USD per week (shown on all Comluv main blog pages).
You can even sign yourself up as an affiliate and earn 50% of the purchase price! Please see the newsletter for the ad affiliate signup link.
Andy, I just updated my URL registration, and I have a couple comments. First, it wasn’t real clear that “http://” wasn’t necessary (in fact, won’t work) when entering feed URLs.
Second, there are two “Submit” buttons to update info. However, it wasn’t completely clear (to me, at least), which button updated what material. As a result, it took three or four tries for me to get everything input and updated correctly.
How about a single form, with a single Submit button?
Otherwise, I think the URL registration is a great idea, and I’ll be very interested to see the results going forward!

you’re right! I do need to make it more clear for the user. Sorry about that! I’ll work on a nice easy step by step process or break up the page sections into User details and Main site details.
over 100 people have used it within the first few minutes of the email going out about it so hopefully there aren’t too many people having problems.
I think after the weekend will be the best time for me to improve the page layout, I’m working all nights until Monday so it’ll have to do for now.
thanks for your feedback

the server that the old plugin lived on has died so it wont work anymore unless you update to the latest version. I have been posting and emailing about it for over 6 weeks which I thought was enough time for everyone to get the message.
you can download the latest version through your wordpress dashboard or use the download page on this site.

For some reason when I post on various CommentLuv blogs using my correct site and email address it the CommentLuv doesn’t recognize me. But it’s right whe I post here, so maybe something is just wrong with those other sites.

I think this is because the sites you’re having a problem on are using an old version of commentluv which uses the old server and that died a few days ago. I’ve been sending update notifications for months but some people don’t like to upgrade at all! just let the blog owner know that they need to update their commentluv plugin to 2.7.61

I’m thinking that I just might have to install comment luv; I was using no nofollow, but I kept getting spammed with bad comments! Is there any spam protection that is in place?

There aren’t any anti-spam functions in commentluv but, I have found that the little heart icon makes regular comments stand out against the spam in my dashboard so it makes it easier to clear out the junk.
