If you’re like most bloggers, you have more than one blog. Some people have 5 or more!
One of the most requested things to add to ComLuv was the ability to put more than one URL to your account, that is now possible with the introduction of the Addional URLs page. To add another URL to your account costs just 6 credits per year and means that when you comment with either your main URL or any of your additional URLs, you’ll receive posts from all of them when you comment using any of your registered URLs.
You can register any URL except someone elses main site. Be sure that you have updated your main URL with a description so the system has a record to add to.
Hey Andy
i have registered my blog to get 10 other options link on the comments form, there is a little problem between preffered (www) and non-preferred domain. If i register comluv using preffered-domain (with www) and in the comment form i use non-preffered domain (without www), the 10 optional links won’t be generated or displayed, and vice versa.
I hope between prefferd or non-preffered domain the 10 optional links is displayed correctly

Thanks for this function! Exactly what I’ve wanted most
Unfortunately it’s not working for me – it just says “Please update your main url before entering additional url’s” but I’ll submit a support ticket and show you exactly. Thank you for all your hand work.
Cheers,
Ricky

thanks for your feedback. I’ve added a check to the member page so if you don’t have a user id stored in the wordpress database, it’ll add one.
can you try to do it again and let me know how it works out?

My question is that when I use a post from my additional URL the little heart icon will say that It’s from a non-member is it only the main url that will list all the info or is there a way of having the additional url doing the same as the main one?

this is because you regsitered bloggingwire.com/whatawebsite as your additional url but all your links on your feed go to bloggingwire.com/blazingminds/ so comluv can’t tell it belongs to you.
you would need to change your feed or change your additional url.

Hi Andy,
Please clarify how many additional URLs can be added. One? More? Is there a limit? Thank you.

there isn’t any real limit at the moment because no problems have been reported. It might get unwieldy to choose one link from a list of 100 if you register 10 urls to send back 10 posts though.
I may add a limit on total amount of posts returned if it causes a problem with bandwidth in the future but, for now, there’s no limit.
How do I update my URL with Comment Luv? I have entered ONLY http://www.mommyneedsavaction.com instead of http://mommyneedsavacation.com
Because of this, comment luv is not returning my most recent posts and is taking FOREVER to refresh. PLEASE HELP!!
