I’ve just released and updated the codex with CommentLuv 2.7.6.4 which addresses a bug with json_decode on some Wordpress 2.9 installs. I wasn’t able to reproduce the error someone was having but this release should fix it. If you’re expriencing any problems with this version please submit a support ticket.

When can the integration with Disqus be expected? If it’s a while away yet I will get rid of Disqus and return to a commentluv only commenting system.
    Thanks,
    Darren

I haven’t been able to do much with disqus because they use an iframe to hold the comment text area, I doubt I’ll be able to put some decent time into figuring out a way around that for months. Sorry! might be best to go with wordpress own comments or IntenseDebate

it may be because you’re copying and pasting from this page into your file and the character set is different. Try pasting it into notepad and then copying that text to your file so it has no formatting on the text.

I try it by other Themes- then lost just the sidebar und i have this text:

“CommentLuv requires Wordpress 2.6.5 or newer. Please Update!” -I have wp 2.9.1 and the Themes are for 2.9.1.

Thanks for the update! I just noticed this in the admin panel – Info panel background color and it defaulted to pink. What is this?

try changing it to lightblue or red or white and you’ll see the info panel change color (hover your mouse over the heart icon next to last blog post links to see the info panel)

    Hi there!
I change the cl_style.css file to match my style – well mainly the “border:2px solid #ccc;” bit.
Would it be possible to not overwrite this file with each update? It’s not that it’s hard to fix, but it’s one more thing to remember…
    Thanks for a great pugin!

I think I’ll be able to put in css control in a new version coming. I’m really busy at the moment with the site and my offline world but I do have all the plans of what I need to add in my head. I’ll be ready to put it down in code when I get a few days free at the PC. It’s got so big now that I can’t do it in an afternoon anymore!

you have ‘use template insert’ enabled in your commentluv settings.
You should uncheck the box for that and the badge should show.
