The free 30 days that a new comluv blog gets is no longer active, I’m sorry it had to come to this but the time it takes to go through the new submissions and determine if they’re a real blog or not means that I have no time for anything else!
Less law = less crime!
Ironically, it means there are a lot more sites that can be here now that a charge is in place. Before, it was free to make a site and that attracted a lot of promoters and marketers as well as super ambitious SEO contest entrants. I had to filter all those promotion sites and get rid of them because I couldn’t afford to keep providing a platform for people to make any site they wanted for free, forever.
Now there is a charge in place, all the freebie, spammy bot type users will move on to another free site and people like beth821 can have their extra promotional page about their Zazzle products and the server can continue to cost money and the bandwidth can continue to grow. Long live ComLuv!!
Real bloggers get it free!
All is not lost if you don’t have paypal in your country or you just can’t afford to pay the $5 to have a blog. If you have something to say and you want to share it with the internet on your own personal blog then submit a request to get your blog activated for free and if you’re a real person with a real blog to create, the chances are that you’ll get it.
Membership will always be free
The charge is only for blogs created here, the membership required to register your url to the comluv database is, and always will be, free. That’s not going to change. Just be sure to choose ‘just a username’ if you’re here to register your own blog to receive 10 posts when you comment on CommentLuv enabled blogs.

I can’t say I blame you if it means you get to keep the overall quality of the comluv network up, if keeping spammers and bots out, great, so be it.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t even realise I had the option and 30 day free trial comluv blog…lol, so I could have also created a blog say robsellen.comluv.com ??
I have probably been using the commentluv a month now, seeing as it was one of the first plug ins I got set up along with the usual askimet, all in one seo, etc.
I initially joined because I felt it a great way to reward genuine commenter’s, while also contributing to building a community, lost count of the great blogs I have found over the last month via the links, I wouldn’t have found almost any of them without it.
It has to be one of the most important plug ins I use and I hadn’t thought about the network itself, the blog here etc, just what a great plug in and a great way to find good blogs, and a great incentive for them to leave a comment too. win win.
Ah well, even if the month is up, no regrets here, just the fact you have helped my blog and me in some way just being here and giving us this plug in is enough.
So, I think you are doing us all a favour here too by cutting out the spammers, I say fair play.

Well, as they say, “no good deed goes unpunished”, eh? It certainly will be easier for you, that’s for sure. Thank you for your dedication to CommentLuv. Hmmm…I just noticed it says “no last blog posts to return”. I just did one last night, so I’ll have to see what’s up with that.
Actually, putting forth some effort to get rid of spam bots is a good thing. I have only been using ComLuv for a short while, but I think it is a great idea and I wish you lots of continued success.

I never know we have such option. May be I miss the news later. You are right in your case as SEO practitioner sometime create this type of blog to point a link towards a targeted site. I already have a personal blog but love to get another blog in here if I feel the need.

Help a puter idiot out here a sec…
I have one blog, but it is set up with several sub-blogs for different topics. Can I get CommentLuv to pull the latest 10 posts from the combined addresses if all begin with juicymaters.com/ ?
Second, I can’t get the registration to work so I can pull 10…it just takes the last from JM.com/ unless I manually change the URL to a sub-blog address like jm.com/ramblings or one of the other sub-blogs, and even then I just get the last, not the last ten.
Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,
In order to pull ten from each sub-domain I believe you will have to register each one as explained in Andy’s post Add Another URL to Get More Posts to Choose From.
If there are only a few pages or posts on some of your sub-domains that you wish to feature you might want to set up default links instead.
If you still have questions you will need to open a support ticket as explained on the Contact Us tab.
