I got this plugin and it simply rocks!! I was talking to some bloggers on Google+ that use commenting system plugins on their blogs like Livefyre and Disqus. Turns out that they didn’t really that the profile links aren’t DoFollow and they got a huge headache when they tried to switch from Disqus to Livefyre and they lost 3 years worth of comments!

As far as I know, Comment Luv is for commentators who can have a back link to their blog post. This is the most important feature of comment luv which is available in the free plugin as well. The other features listed above can be obtained from other free plugins. I want to buy this plugin but I really don’t see any feature worth spending the money. I am sorry. Am I missing something?

I did some research and it seems the usual plugin allows the commentator to choose one of ten posts from his blog while the premium plugin allows the commentator to do that only if he likes, tweets or plus ones the post. Am I correct?

Am I correct in thinking that the light version only provides an automatic dofollow in place offering the commentator an automatic backlink form your site to theirs? And that the difference with the premium is that you can stipulate precisely what the commentator needs to do in order to get their dofollow backlink? Please confirm I’ve got this right, as I’d like to purchase the premium back am a little confused still with exactly what the lite version actually offers.

Hi Rebecca, the light version is exactly that – a light version of the plugin. It allows you to give users more links to choose from if they register but if you want dofollow then you need to install a dofollow plugin.
the premium version allows you to have full control over who gets more links and when to make them dofollow based on a number of factors like number of comments already approved, if they clicked on a social sharing icon and more.
the premium version also combines a number of other plugins in to the core code so it makes it faster than having multiple separate plugins.
