Guest posts. They are coming!!
My workload has been dramatic over the past two weeks so I’ve barely had time to visit the comluv dashboard to answer comments let alone work on the new theme but I thought I’d give you a chance to pre register to become a guest poster here at ComLuv.com in readiness for the time when the work monsters set me free for a few days.
Just submit a support ticket with your request to become a contributor and I’ll update your account, when the time comes, I’ll announce that guest posting will be open and you can submit your articles and stories to the site and as long as they’re acceptable, I’ll approve them.
You’ll get a fancy guest poster box like the one above which shows your site details and avatar letting everyone know where you normally write and where to contact you for offers of fame and fortune! The information shown is what you have saved in the member page details so it can contain a keyword rich description, a keyworded or keyphrase title for your site which is a dofollow link and you also get a link to follow you on twitter.
How cool is that? (no need to answer, it’s cool). A big thanks to Hesham for his tutorial on how to make a guest posters box, I can’t find the actual page the tutorial is on but, go visit his how to blog site anyway. It’s full of great information!
Mass audience
Guest posting is a great way to get new visitors to your own blog, with the links that are shown on your guest post here and combined with the large amount of unique visitors and returning users that the site gets you’ll be almost guaranteed to get more traffic and subscribers.
The best articles of the month may even be included with the newsletter which goes out to over 12,000 email subscribers!
Wipe your feet!
It goes without saying that if you’re invited to someone’s house that you wipe your feet before you trample mud all over, the same goes for comluv.com. If you’re going to be guest posting on this site and getting all the advantages that that gets then please show a little respect. I’ve taken the advice about how to create guest post guidelines from the great commentluv enabled site, menwithpens.ca which I’ll be publishing nearer the time that the new theme will go live and after I’ve had a discussion with Hesham who has been running a successful guest blogging blog for quite some time about the perils and pitfalls of opening up a blog to guest posters.
CommentLuv enabled site search engine
I’ve been watching the amount of sites that are included in the Google custom search engine part of this site increase every week, for quite some time now I have had to sort the sites by most luv given because a google custom search engine can only have 5000 sites listed and that limit was reached a long time ago.
In case you didn’t know, the search box on this site homepage and sidebar will only search CommentLuv enabled sites that have given out some luv in the past 7 days. That means you will always get up to date relevant commentluv enabled sites for your keywords and phrases.
(Please only leave relevant comments and do not spam these sites, if you do, I can ban you and you wont get any luv on any commentluv enabled site anywhere. Webmasters, please submit a support ticket with the url of anyone abusing your hospitality)
Keep on luvvin!
Thanks so much for being a commentluv user and visiting the site so often, I do appreciate all the comments you leave and I do try and answer as many as I can.
Please be aware though, that I have 2 jobs (1 of them is a family business) and to top it all, a rather serious commitment to a new startup I am partnering in. This whole commentluv thing is still considered to be my spare time hobby (yeah right!), if it was making me lots of money then I’d be able to give it more time but, until then, it’s what I do in between ‘real work’ so please be patient and I know I say it every week but, if you want to ask questions then please use the support tickets. I really don’t have the time to answer the same old questions that get submitted via my private email. thanks!

Great news and thank you for working to keep us happy!
The search engine is good but I am afraid that might be a tool for spammers to use their automatic tools to search for niche websites with comluv and spam it.
Btw about the not having time thingy, why dont you try and coop someone else from the comluv community to help you out! I dont mean like serious stuff, first just the small things like verifying the new webmaster submission for guest spammers and if they want and have done a good job can advance to help you out in more complicated stuff.
Anyway Thank you for your good work! Just keep on lovin`…

Hi Alex,
I have considered bringing in people to comluv to help out. Hesham very kindly offered to come into the team so I will see where that goes, he was already very good with the contest we ran recently and I know he can help with the look and fell of the site. It’s just having time to arrange it all!
thanks for coming by.

No problem Andy, I hope you get more help with this project because it’s cool and helps a lot of people and you don’t see many projects out there that are not all about making more money for them, then giving to the communities !
But on the other side I understand that you have your life and you need to do other jobs for your well-being and I would hate seeing this project going to the internet recycle bin.
Ohh, yeah made and account

Andy this is a fantastic opportunity for us now that you are offering guest posts here on CommentLuv. I look forward to taking advantage of it.
I think it will be interesting to see the range of topics that will be covered by the guest post submissions. It will also give everyone a chance to follow some interesting bloggers that we might not know already.
Thanks for the updates on the search engine too. I try to give out some CommentLuv every day so that I can stay in the loop on the search results page.
Cheers!
