Who doesn’t want to be a successful blogger and who wouldn’t like to ditch their day job? Why bother blogging in the first place if this is not your goal. Don’t get me wrong though, as people enjoy blogging for a hobby. But if only they knew that they could do it full-time and ditch their day job, I wonder where their choice would lay then? Isn’t that what life is about? Doing exactly what you enjoy and getting paid for it?
Well I ditched my day job by selling my real-world businesses for a life of blogging. Although I am not a famous blogger, I do not need to be, as I am earning a full-time living by doing something that I love. I count myself very lucky and would like to share a few tips on how you can also become a sucessful blogger and ditch your day job!
Can You Ditch Your Day Job?
Have you got the guts to leave your job and put everything into a career of blogging, which by normal standards, does not count as a real job. It is true! If you go out in the real world and someone asks you what you do for a living and you say “blogging”, they look at you strangely. We all know why they do that, as blogging is not classed as a real job. It only exists in Internet land.
This is not like changing a career path as there are no specific qualifications required. Blogging is a highly sought out skill, but will it ever attract any true experienced bloggers into a University to teach this subject? I doubt it, as a University lecturers salary would be a mere fraction of a successful bloggers earnings.
That is why bloggers need guts to ditch their day jobs and go with this unknown profession.

Income That Will Cover Your Expenses
Of course you cannot ditch your day job if you cannot earn enough money to cover your living expenses. If you save your money and then leave your job, you could probably afford time to start making a living online. This is a lot of pressure though, as it is far better to start earning money first, and then ditch your day job.
People that do have a normal job may find it very hard to give up the security, the benefits, and the supervision that goes with having a job. But the income earned blogging can easily be more than double, triple, and beyond the normal wage. The skies the limit with blogging. I make money online using various methods, so you are never restricted to any one monetization method.
Believe in Yourself
You need to believe that you can do this and you will be successful! It doesn’t mean that you have to be up yourself, but it does mean that you have to be positive. To become a successful blogger, you will have to display some kind of self-confidence and go getting characteristics.
Have the Strength to Walk Alone
You need to have the strength to make your own decisions and stand-up and deal with the consequences whether they be good or bad. The buck stops at you. There will be no one else to blame if things go wrong so get ready to stand up and take it on the chin. It is exactly like a business owner, there is no difference there.
How to Become a Successful Blogger?
In the process of building your blogging empire, and if you stick at this long enough, you will unknowingly become a successful blogger. Before you know it, you will have your own million dollar blogging business. Success comes with experience and the more you have, the more success you will see. You might change your path here and there but success is there for those who stick at it.
