I actively use Google+, Facebook, twitter and digg to share my posts. I feel happy every time someone gives a +1 or like or digg. It makes me happy when I go to bed. I have noticed better ranking of certain pages with more +1′s.

I agree with you. The blog is made with love and dedication, so obviously it expects all the love it can get in return. The LIKE button on Facebook is the Social Media Cupid that brings close attention to know the worth of the content. The value of the blog can actually be measured with the number of LIKES. Facebook is truly a powerful tool!

Very well said. If there are options out there, why not use them to make your blog lovable? All options mentioned above are great, but the one I love the most is having the LIKE box of Facebook. Seeing that number increase just shows how appreciated the content is. And just one click…so simple! Thank you for sharing.

Mary, the Google +1′s for your articles/posts help in giving relevance to your posts to help them rank better in the search results. Whether it be a keyword or a string of keywords..when the Bog crawls your site he/she is now seeing the social count of your site. This is why Google has made a measurement in Google analytics for this very purpose.

I agree on this because Facebook is a very powerful blogging tool, if you use it right. I started experimenting with Facebook pages linked to my blog and it helped gain more visitors. Also, Google values sites that are linked from Facebook.

I’d have to say that doing something you love is very important, espiecally for you bloggers out there. Don’t stop blogging

So true. I try to promote my favorite bloggers as much as I can on all SM platforms. It’s a great feeling seeing your link shared and feeling the love, but for me helping a fellow blogger is the best.

It’s a good thing we have social media, its easier for bloggers to shout their new post and receive free traffic from it. Let’s not forget SEO and other plugins that helped us receive the “love”.
