I have lots and lots of plugins that I would like to release but I don't because the amount of work it takes to support them and update them makes it not worth it. Maybe if I charged a small fee for the plugin and that enabled you to get free updates and support? what do you think, would the guest poster plugin be worth paying 15$ for free updates for life? Right now, i have hard coded all the guidelines and widget code. I suppose I could clean it up and add some settings pages but honestly, settings pages and validation is the longest boringest part of making a plugin and I already have far too much to do in my life! (supporting it would be intense too!) maybe if I get around to putting up a premium support type deal for plugins ... I may do, it would need some attention to make it a public plugin.
