Its not just about having a blog, but regularly updating it and posting content relevant to your line of profession. This will go a long way in establishing contacts with potential employers. you could also build up your own network and be able to eventually make money from the blogs, hence you will not need any employment.

What a great article! I think blogging is a great way to help students get their name out. As well, the more positive recognition you online, the better it will look to future employers. Most people don’t realize it, but employers do put your name in Google to see what they can find!

I think it helps build your profile or “brand,” if you will. Any kind of success after college depends on marketing yourself in a number of ways. One way to do that is to get the word out about yourself and about what you know and do. Blogging is a perfect way to do that because you can illustrate your credibility, knowledge, and skills.
