Hello and thanks for a good post. Ive been using real time search in a way similar to what you have described. It really helps find out what related content people are searching for. I have one question. You say:
“I can now visit their Twitter profiles, follow them and respond to their requests for assistance. Obviously I’m gonna send them to my blog!”

Wouldn’t that count as spam for some people? I mean we all know that a random tweet )esp with a link) from someone we know nothing about is seen as spam by most people. I even block people who do that. How do you deal with that?

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for sharing. I just notice Google real time search option because of your post. I test it by tweet one post about “generate more target leads” and then search it via Google real time search, interesting to see that it’s showing the result of what I just tweet on Twitter.

Thanks for the information about Google Real Time Search, I usually get ideas for blog posts from places like Yahoo Answers and talking with friends. I am going to try the Google Real Time Search especially when I get an episode or writers block : )

I never realized that I could use Google’s real time feature this way. I knew that it provided live twitter feed updates but using it this way could really boost my marketing efforts for my blog. Thanks for sharing!

Great post and, BECAUSE of this post, I absolutely have been using it. Notice my latest blog post?

There are many uses for Google Realtime I have discovered. Building links is one, absolutely. But so is positioning yourself as an expert in your field. As you suggest you look for people who need help building a blog. And off you go! To help another soul and continue building your expertise in the eyes of the world wide wow.
