Congrats Andy. I agree with others, commentluv is one of the best plugins and best things to happen to blogging world.

I think the simple reason for why so many people sue it is because:

As a blogger, it gives you a great tool to encourage other bloggers to interact with you and leave comments, while at the same time it enables you to give back to your visitors who take time to leave comments about your work.

As a commentator, it allows you to contribute to a blog you like, while at the same time you are getting some benefit as well.

Its a win win situation for all parties involved. And I think thats the genius behind CLUV and its tremendous success.

Hey Andy,

CommentLuv is pretty much one of the best things to happen to the blogging world. Without a doubt an awesome way to reward commentators and encourage their comments. Although the article was a long read, it was well worth it. The story behind all of this is really interesting. Starting off with something that barely works and turning it to what it is now – a plug-in installed on quarter million blogs. Amazing!

thanks Aaron, I think that the effort involved installing nginx and others would be about the same as doing the new plugin and site process that I’ve thought about. It’s more a matter of finding the time in my life to do it though.

It was never my intention to take it anywhere other than my own site, it took on a life of it’s own!

perhaps with a new site there would be chance of a joomla plugin but not as it stands right now, sorry!
