I’ve done some minor updates to the site today (at the cost of my normal Sunday routine) which make the whole place a little bit more “commentluv” and changed the way the tag results page displays.
The login page now has the logo and the help page in the dashboard has a link to the support area. A few other minor links have been changed, expect more links to appear/dissappear/change over the next few days.
The tags results page now only shows an excerpt of the post and puts the authors avatar next to it too, this should prevent any duplicate content bad juju and encourage visitors to visit the individual blog to get more info.

Thanks for your post. I’ve been searching all over google to find out more about CommentLuv bad juju, without much success. It’s great to see you’ve mentioned it here.
I was replying to comments on my blog and noticed that I got zapped with bad juju. The CommentLuv message about bad juju went away pretty quickly, so I couldn’t work out what it was, or what I had done wrong. I’m guessing I might have accidentally clicked on something too many times. I also realise now, that I was replying from my published blog site. I now only reply from within my dashboard.
Anyway, I have some questions and I was wondering if you could help me with this? If you can’t, I totally understand.
My questions are:
1. What exactly is CommentLuv bad juju?
2. What are the consequences of getting bad juju?
3. How can I rectify the situation, if it needs to be rectified?
4. Is there somewhere I can go to get information or support about this?
If you can’t help me, I’d really appreciate any pointers in the right direction. Thanks Andy.

bad juju happens when a feed for a site has an error and gets requested 3 times or more . This over works the server so if a site results in a bad feed 3 times, it gets put in the ban table.
once you’re in the ban table, your url cannot receive luv on any commentluv site.
You can easily unban yourself once you have fixed your feed by visiting the unban-url page here
Be sure to check your feed by browsing to it and seeing if it displays properly. You can also put it through a validator to check for errors. Once your feed is working normal, unban your url and you’ll be fine.
