I really needed that. I do at-least two of things you mentioned constantly. I have not done any keyword research, I have not payed for any tools and I have probably fluffed around, lol. I never really planned into turning my blog into something that is my primary way of making money. However, even if that is not the case, then it would still make sense to make it something really worth doing. I used as more of a way of being found on the internet by those who may want my services and or products. Or you somehow think that you can't do anything else without performing one huge task... and if that task never gets done - the list falls to pieces. I've definitely been guilty of this a time or two. But what I usually end up doing is just writing a list of maybe 5 'to-do's' (no matter how small) and get them to at all costs. So at the end of the day, at least I can say I did those list items. I think some people look at it as failure but in reality it's success because it allows you to let go of whats not working to move on to what will work.
